Tropical Depression Bebinca Update #6 (FINAL)

Bebinca has made landfall in Northern Vietnam last night and has since weakened into a Tropical Depression. The system was last located approximately 70km southeast of Hanoi. Maximum sustained winds are down to 45kph with gusts of up to 65kph. TD Bebinca is now moving northward at 10kph.

Latest satellite image shows the convection associated with Bebinca has significantly weakened as it moved over land. Nevertheless, rains continue to fall across Northern Vietnam and some places have already surpassed the 250mm accumulation mark.

Bebinca is forecast to dissipate by tomorrow as it continue to track northward into China. Rains will continue across the Indochina Region particularly in Vietnam and Laos.

This is our final update for Tropical Depression Bebinca. Rest of the Western Pacific looks like it will be cyclone-free for the next few days.
